site will only let you use 1 code, so i'm not sure the living social is a good deal $13 plus $9 ship = $22, but right now you can get the regular (non-maverick) pears for $19.99 with free shipping.

Bummer, it's too late now. Maybe I should order the tower gift with the 20% they give for re-ordering from last years history. I need them by end of December so was planning on holding off till after x'mas.
