At my nearby Target today (Saturday the 27th), non-food holiday items (gift wrap, lights, cards, etc.) were at 50% off, and food items (candy, snacks, etc.) at 30% off. If you see further markdowns in the coming days, please share!

Based on the thread on slickdeals, I expect it to go 70% tomorrow and 90% Friday. But it is different at every store and every year!

I had thought it would go yesterday. The past 2 years or was the Sunday after Christmas.

I seem to remember things going 70% off on New Years Eve.

Some stores have gone to 70% today, might be worth a check.

Mine was still 50% today. So frustrating!

Here are my notes:
2013, Christmas was on Wed.
70% 12/29 (Sun)
90% 1/4 (Sat)

2012, Christmas was on Tuesday
70% 12/30 (Sun)
90% 1/5 (Sat.)

2011, Christmas was on Sunday
70% 12/31 (Sat)
90% 1/6 (Fri)

This is for wrapping, stocking stuffers, etc.

Today, stores in my area went 70% off on 'stuff', 50% on food. I went to a few Targets, it was a wide range of leftovers: one had hardy any decor left, but lots of food, one had no lights, another had a big shelf full, one had lots of wrap and bows, one not, etc. Happy hunting, y'all!

Mine was 50% on food (which there was a lot of) and 70% "stuff". The "stuff" included stocking stuffers and there was a lot of frozen stuff in there.

Mine was 70% on the one spot but still 50% on decorations. Didn't look at food.

I should also say mine had 70% off on lots of stuff in the dollar spot. Some Christmas theme but still a lot not. I got lots of the play packs (crayons, stickers, etc) that I find great for when we go to restaurants.

My store was 70% off today. I stocked up on stocking stuffers for next year and brought tons of hello kitty stuff for goodie bags for DD1's party.

My store was 70% also today, 50 % food. I bought some boxes and gift bags , the stocking stuffer section was pretty wiped out.

On 12/31 my Target was 50% off food and 70% percent off the rest. I managed to find some extension cords and mini rolls of wrapping paper, both of which I was looking for. Other than that the Christmas aisles were seriously picked over. I was hoping for gift bags but the only ones left were Elf on the Shelf- there were plenty of those.

My target also had 70% off food and 50% off everything else, with very little selection. However, in the toy section, I found Thomas train sets marked down from 19.99 to 5.06 (marked AS IS although nothing seems to be wrong). They're made exclusively for Target and don't look like great quality (plastic) but for $5 I thought it was a pretty good deal. I don't know anything about trains (yet!) since DS is still a baby but hopefully they'll be enjoyed in the future. There were a lot of them in my store, although YMMV obviously.

Still 50% off food and 70% off everything else. Went to 2 stores. Was disappointed that food wasn't 70% off yet.

I think the AS IS clearance items are usually online returns of items they don't usually carry in that store.

My store (in CO) was manually taking an extra 20%. That wasn't a true 70/90% off, but made the duplo tomato (?!) With legoland coupons only $0.80.
