I'm thinking of getting a pair of Vionic Tide for an upcoming Disney trip (March). I've been reading lots of reviews and they get lots of positive reviews, but it seems like most people who wear them have "foot issues" - plantar fasciitis, fallen arches, flat feet..... I'm a flip flop lover with no foot issues. Are they "overkill" for a comfortable walking shoe for Disney? Any other suggestions?

I don't have Vionics but have had my eye on them for awhile. I think they're a good choice for anybody. From what I've heard, wearing flip flops (which I do) is just not at all good for your feet and will likely catch up with you one day when you're older. They offer you no arch support or support of any kind, really.

I love them and have worn them at Disney. I don't have foot issues other than being plump and making my feet do more than they should. I wore them while pregnant one trip. It took me a bit to get used to the nubbies, but after that, I don't wear others. I switched from the squashy Sanuks because my back was hurting from the lack of support.

BunnyBee, may I ask what style of Vionics you wear?

Tide or Tide II. I can't tell the difference looking at the listings... :)
