I saw on slickdeals that Amazon is having up to 70% off of coats and jackets for the whole family.

However, I browsed the big girl section and didn't find a whole lot of options. But if you look, there are more deals that aren't coming up on Amazon's link. For example, I bought these (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LXF9KJS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for my twins for only $18 each after searching for Rothschild. These coats are definitely cheaper than yesterday when I looked at Amazon for coat deals. So I guess you need to either browse the entire outerwear section or search by brand to find more markdowns.

I've been really pleased with the Rothchild coats I've bought for DC. However, you may want to order the size down if you are needing a size 9. IME they can run big. DS1 is 10 (can still wear some 8 tops--is on the smaller side) and has worn his size 8 all season. The 10-12 I bought last year was quite big on him. So, if there are free returns (not sure) I would definitely try each size.

it's definitely tricky...but they are wearing 7/8 Rothschild this year and those will be too small. We may just have to do some significant sleeve rolling. for this price though I guess I can hang on until the next year.

If you go to clothng, then click on girls, then outerwear, then you should be able to look down on the bottom left and see brands. Then you should be able to sort by discount.
