Any suggestions? I am looking for something super lightweight, cross body. Not leather. I used to have (and regrettably sold on a local swap site thinking i didn't use it much!) a LeSportSac Deluxe something (didn't have a messenger flap per se but did have a flap on the front I think...but a full zip in the center and accessible). I've tried googling for THAT bag but came up empty.....it's not made anymore but I realize now, it was perfect!

Requirements: long strap, prefer light color interior. It can be a diaper bag so long as it doesn't SCREAM diaper bag (LeSportSac Ryan might fit the bill if i can find one discounted). It's for all day use, out w/ the family. In the winter I'd want to be able to fit my personal items (cell, charger, wallet, coupons) plus hats, gloves, a few snacks, etc. In the summer I need it for a day @ Sea World, plus Disney, etc...and be able to sling it over the back of a wheelchair. Carry extra rain ponchos, sunscreen, etc.

I did try the True Messenger from LSS but it was still stiff and too small.

Help! Suggestions! Online or B&M.

What type of dimensions are you thinking? I recently got a Kipling Alvar and love it for my daily errands. Large enough to throw in a paperback book and snack if needed. Its not quite tall enough to hold my water bottle though, so may need to switch back to my Overland Donner for summer. I also got a Thirty One Retro Metro Fold Over tote (can use as a tote or folded over and cross body) from their big sale at the end of Dec. It is huge! Way bigger than I expected so I didn't think I would keep it. I ended up using it yesterday though on a Girl Scout outting. It held my folder of emergency contacts for the girls, camera, phone, wallet, small cosmetic bag w/ first aide supplies, and had plenty of room left over, which was good because I also threw in three girls vests and shopping money and doll accessories (they were at a doll tea party) throughout the day. So I think I'll hold on to it for days like that. It's very lightweight which was nice. I am now eyeing the Thirty One Vary You convertible backpack again......it is smaller than the fold over that I have and can convert to a backpack to.

LeSportsac Deluxe Everyday bag sounds like what you had. It's still made! http://www.ebags.com/product/lesportsac/deluxe-everyday/127386?productid=1339839 (cheaper on amazon and several colors/styles work with the extra 20% off)

Kipling Europa: http://www.ebags.com/product/kipling/europa-multi-zip-shoulder-bag/58265?productid=659335

Bagallini Everywhere has a contrast lining and lots of pockets: http://www.ebags.com/product/baggallini/everywhere-bagg/219224?productid=10333051

I have all of those :bag and use them for diaper bags and travel bags. They're all similarly sized. The Kipling holds the most I think? The LeSportsac is adjustable and has a zip out expander section IIRC. The Bagallini is the smallest. I can fit a padded camera insert and my small Canon Rebel in them along with other essentials.

I may also have the LeSportsac Jessi, which is significantly larger. It's flopsy and I don't like it as much for everyday. It's good to keep in the car stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly every need... :)

Note: I think the Le Sport Sac Deluxe Everyday Bag looks like a great choice! I think more practical than the MBMJ I am recommending and a better price too.

I like MBMJ's nylon Natasha bags. Very lightweight, but the Natasha is prob too small for your needs. The Sasha is a larger version.

MBMJ's Sasha bag is a bigger version of the Natasha style and will prob be a better size for you:

I love my LeSport Sac, too and have to admit that my Baggalini is a close match for comfort/lightweight/durability/ease of use. Those are the 2 of my many bags that I would actually buy again.

FYI, Nordstrom Rack (I went to the Colma one in No. Cal) had lots of LeSport Sac bags at good prices. Different styles to choose from.

I love this mini-mass for me but they also have a larger one (the half mass). I love the water bottle pocket. This is my go to for travel.

I ended up buying a lesportsac cleo in Nordstrom Rack. It was only $29 so I'll try it out (I used to have one...but I think maybe they had 2 sizes? this one seems large). We'll see but I"ll keep my eyes open for something else too!

Try the Bagallini. It looks small but it's actually huge and can carry everything you need. I carry mine all over Disney and it's great. This is the one I have but there are several on the websites that would work. http://www.ebags.com/product/baggallini/messenger-sling-bagg-crinkle-nylon/47360?productid=510079
