A nice lightweight trench/rain coat is on my list - in a fun color! But everything seems either too dressy or too sporty...I'd love something in between that I could wear to a kids soccer game, but then also to travel or out to a casual dinner.

I have a slight rain coat/ trench coat problem. ;) My favorite is a (now discontinued) Lands End style that is navy with polka dots. But, I also have a great North Face for sporty stuff. A black trench, a tan belted trench and I think maybe 1 more. I also have a great denim jacket and several other light weight jackets. So, I just went with the idea of a different coat per scenario.

OP- I want a few printed ts and maybe a few more cardigans. I'd like the cardigan to have some embellishment or print- something a bit less boring than all of my solid colored ones. I'll probably get a new pair of flats too. Mostly though I am just waiting for summer clothes. Love dresses, skirts and tank tops.

Ideally, it would be a neutral, but I hate the way I look in black, so I think I'm looking at either royal blue or navy.

Next on my list is a black and white striped tee. And some basic camis. But that's about it.

I love spring because it means I can find linen and linen blend tshirts! I stocked up on some from the gap and old navy, but I'm hoping to find more (maybe some Vince tees on sale). I just replaced my red saltwater sandals and my nude cole haan ballet flats so I should be good for the late spring/summer shoes. I wouldn't mind finding some cute dresses, but I have no idea what I'm looking for yet.

And I want some work-appropriate tunics or dresses that I can wear with leggings. Maybe a shirtdress that could pass for business casual?

I also really want a lightweight knit (like maybe an airy loose knit) cotton beanie for those bad hair days. That could be a total fashion no-no but I love how in the winter I can just throw a beanie over my hair. I have short hair so if I shower at night (which I like to do), I wake up with awful hair and don't always have time to fix it. I wish there were a similar option for spring/summer.

In general I just want LONG THINGS. Long, long, long to wear over skinnies and leggings. I have so much trouble finding stuff that is long enough!

Cabi is Carol Anderson By Invitation. People host parties at their home and the clothes are there and you can try them on and order them. Parties usually include appetizers and wine and are generally a fun girls' night.

I am only shopping with gift cards for clothes this year, so that helps me focus what I'm buying ;) I've picked up a pair of pale pink jeans, the Pacer Dress and Palaside Ankle pant from Athleta's Friends and Family sale and that's it so far. I got some super cute short sleeve tops from Anthro in the fall, so I'm itching to bring them out for spring but the weather can't quite decide what it's doing yet!

I managed to snag a pair of grey Chucks from DSW for $15 off (I had earned a $10 cert plus is stacked with another $5 coupon they were running) and I wore them to work yesterday with skinny ankle pants and a ponte blazer. Love them. My white jeans from Loft arrived and I think I'm keeping them. Bought the curvy straight (which come cuffed) and I think I'll be able to wear them as ankle or cuffed and they are thick enough to not show the pocket lining (I hate that on white pants). So excited to find the two things I wanted most.

I want a new tote bag with some zippers, preferably leather, but I haven't settled on a design yet, but I know I want to spend less than $200. It needs to be large enough to potentially carry a 15" laptop, and a 2" binder. I love the black double zipper one from Tory Burch, and of course the LV totes in the damier dark canvas are way out of my price range.

Fashion wise I am going to need some more tank tops, and some more 7" shorts.
