Now that the weather will soon warm up, DC needs a lighter-weight blanket. I'd like a twin size. Any suggestions? DC loved the Aden+Anais Bamboo Dream Blanket in crib size, but it's too short now. I see they make it in full size (not twin), but the colors aren't cute. :)

My kids adore fuzzy blankets year round. This is one of their favorites, a Vellux brand one. They are soft but breathable. I use one year round with a quilt on top to trap in some heat. http://www.amazon.com/Vellux-Original-Blanket-Full-Queen/dp/B002KFZ4HC

I have ones like these on all our beds year round now http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-2029656/home-classics-egyptian-cotton-blanket.jsp

It sounds like you may want something thicker, but we just use a duvet cover without the duvet inside for DS. He has a sheet too so the 3 layers is enough.

We have one similar to what JBax linked, but I think it's from Company Kids.
