S/O Hunter boots... how to get them to be glossy again?

I bought a pair of the kids' black glossy Hunters a year or so ago, but they're all chalky-looking now. Is there anything I can use on them to make them more glossy again?

I would imagine something like baby oil or vaseline would work, but interested to hear if anyone had actually done it???

Yes, there is Hunter boot cleaner. It works. I use it on my kids' Native shoes too because they get the same way.
