We are going to Disney in May arriving the 27th, our first day in the parks will be the 28th, last day June 3. We are going to Universal 2 of those days. We are staying off site so I know I can only book fast pass 30 days in advance. So tell me if this is correct. On April 28th I can book FP for that day, we are going to HS that day. Then on the 29th I can book for MK, and so on. Or can I book on the 28th for our entire stay? We are going to MK again on the 3rd, so if I could book FP that day at the beginning of our stay I'm hoping I would be more likely to get Snow White. I haven't purchased our park tickets yet so I know I need to do that soon so they arrive by April. We are getting military discount tickets so they take several weeks to arrive.

Once your 30+ days out window opens you can book for your entire trip for consecutive days. BUT, are you going to Universal two days at the end, or two days in the middle? I think (but am not sure) it only works if your days are consecutive. So if you are going to be in the parks from May 28-June 3 you can book FP for all of those days. But if you are going to be in the parks from May 28-May 31, take two days off, then back for June 3, you would be able to book FP for May 28-31 on April 28, but would have to wait until May 3 to book for June 3. The new system is quite complicated, so maybe someone else has a definite answer!

I don't know. If you are staying on-site, I know that you can book FP+ for the entire stay when your booking window opens. But I don't know how that works with an offsite stay.

This is from the Disney page:
"How much does FastPass+ cost? It’s included with your ticket (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets/), package (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/) or Annual Pass (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/) at no extra charge.
Buy your tickets before you arrive and you can choose your FastPass+ experiences (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/fastpass-plus/) up to 30 days in advance of each day of your theme park visit. When you buy tickets in advance and book a stay at a Disney Resort hotel (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/#/deluxe-villa,deluxe,moderate,value,campground/), you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of your stay. Disney Resort hotel (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/resorts/resort-hotel-list/) Guests also receive a MagicBand (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/plan/my-disney-experience/bands-cards/) to make their vacation more fun and convenient than ever before."

To me, it reads that offsite, you do it one day at a time as the 30 days gets there. Only onsite is for the length of your stay. Although, that really means the length of your tickets. I had 7-day tickets and we were thinking about adding the 8th. I could not make 8 days of reservations last year.

We are getting military discount tickets so they take several weeks to arrive.

Curious about this...we always use the military tickets and DH just picks them up on post. Why do you have to wait several weeks for them to arrive?

They have always had to order ours at the ticket office. They don't keep them on hand. Maybe different posts keep tickets on hand? I'm just happy we still get the discount, it's a HUGE savings!

Guess I will just figure out the FP situation when it comes time for me to book them. We are going to Universal 2 days in the middle, then MK again on our last day. I'm only worried about the Snow White mine train, my kids don't care about A&E.

We are staying off site in April and I had to make fastpass reservations 1 day at a time 30 days out. It would not let me for the entire trip.
