UPDATE 3/22 -- Labor! It's never ... starting I think...

I woke up with contractions this morning. They've been 5 min apart and about 60 seconds all day. Nothing hurt. I had a couple that felt stronger in the past hour. They do wrap to my back. I'm wondering when things will pick up..

Thanks everyone! It fizzled out and nothing happened. Now 4 days went by and today I went into labor & delivery for a non stress test due to lack of movement. Things looked good on the monitors and they sent me home but scheduled another on Mon. I'm truly hoping I have the baby before then! My due date was yesterday, 3/18!

Last night, I had a ton of contractions after walking all day. I was stressing as I didn't feel rested and started late like that with my daughter, and it was super difficult 32 hour labor with no rest... anyway, I relaxed and they stopped and I rested pretty well all night. My doula has a client with an induction scheduled for tomorrow, so now I'm hoping this baby will wait a bit longer. I've been lying low all day and not too many contractions, but when I get up I get a lot of them...

Good luck!! With both of mine, I had contractions all night long and then they stopped in the morning, only to start up again about 6 at night. I hope you get to rest tonight and wait till your doula is done!

I had prodromal labor with DD starting at 37 weeks and it is such a bummer. My best advice is not to stress about it. The more you think about going into labor the less will happen. What worked for me was some gardening (squatting to pull weeds and such) and lots of walking. Good luck!

Go get a pedicure tomorrow if you are up to it, leg massages help escalate labor. Good luck.

I hope this is it!! DS1 was posterior and my contractions felt very similar. They didn't really hurt until I got to about 9 cm.
