I have short hair. Showering at night + rolling out of bed with no time to shower in the morning is not a good combo:) Winter is awesome because I can wear beanies all day and I love them.

But what about summer? Is there any stylish-but-not-trying-too-hard option other than a ballcap that can be worn all day?

Can you wear some type of elastic headband?

The short haired women I know in the summer use wide fabric headbands in fun colors or spray with water in the AM for a quick fix ETA: the headbands are 4-6 inches and cover most of their hair; they look almost like a bandanna without that extra fabric triangle at the back.

Yeah, I already have wide headbands like the bandanna type. They don't do the job - I have really thick, coarse hair (BOOOOO). So when it's bedhead, there's no fixing it without soaking it in water, down to the roots. I wish they were enough because I like the headband look!

I guess I really just need time to shower in the mornings but that isn't going to happy anytime soon:)
