We're attending a wedding in a couple of weeks and I'm healing so.very.slowly. from knee surgery. My leg is still swollen and I'm using a crutch so I'm limited on a few things:

1) must be able to wear flats.
2) need to cover my ugly, swollen knee.

I've bought this http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/marc-new-york-by-andrew-marc-stripe-jersey-maxi-dress/3932266?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=3321

and it's okay on me....a little long (and I'm 5'9) so I'm somewhat worried about the skirt dragging. I'm just not feeling very inspired and hoped someone who likes to style others would help.

FWIW, I'm a size 6, tall, with short, pixie hair. Would prefer something more casual than dressy so I'll wear it again.

I would say silk palazzo pants with a dressy tunic or shell that you can wear untucked. Later you can wear the tunic or shell with skinny jeans and heels for a night out and the pants with a tank and gauze blouse and gladdy sandals for a casual look.
