I have been ISO a new pair of comfy jeans. After trying on a bunch of different ones I tried on the Levis 501s. They are great and the price is super vs what I've been paying. They don't stretch, sit a little higher in the waist, and are NOT skinny/tight.
Thought I'd share. FWIW I am 5'10" (they are almost too short for me but they are not) and can fit a size 30 or 31, I got the 31 to be comfy.
