Bike Recommendations for a 12 year old girl

DD#1 is 12 and has a Trek MT220 bike. She says it is too small, and I think I agree, or at least that it will be too small very shortly. What sort of bikes do your older kids ride? I was thinking an Electra Townie?

My soon to be 12 DD has a Trek Cali and my soon to be 10 DD who is the same size as her sister has a Cannondale. They both got grownup bikes for their birthdays a couple of years ago. I can't remember the exact model of the Cannondale. We've been very happy with both.

I must be in denial about how much DD#1 has grown and is growing. She tried my bike out yesterday (Trek hybrid) and it fits her perfectly. Sheesh! And then when she went back onto her own bike, it looked WAY, WAY too small. She said she wants my bike....SO...I may let her have it and get me a new one :)
