I would like inexpensive towels, but not cheap :) Any recommendations on where to get the best deal? Kohls?

TIA!

I don't know what you consider inexpensive vs. not -- but, I bought these towels from Target a couple months ago that I've really liked. http://www.target.com/p/threshold-textured-bath-towels/-/A-14132626#prodSlot=medium_1_6&term=towels They weren't terribly expensive, came in some very nice colors, and they've worn well.

I bought some really thick, soft and large towels at Costco not too long ago. A really great price too!

I bought towels at Sams and I have been surprised at how well they have held up!
Tuesday Morning might be another place to check.

Bed Bath and Beyond with coupons? I bought my mom some last week as a mother's day gift - they were on clearance and then the coupon applied so pretty good buy (assuming they last).

I have plain white towels from costco we bought ages and ages ago that we still use. Not as pretty as the ones we got from Macys when we married nearly 20 years ago but holding up as well.

Costco has some nice ones and also sell the matching washcloths and hand towels.

Thanks everyone! We don't have Costco or BB&B (yet, it will be open soon), but I may try Sam's and Target! I'm hoping to get navy and yellow, the college colors.

Our guest towels are from Sears. We've had them 14 years and they're still going strong. I don't know how they price compare to Target though. I had basic towels from Walmart when I went to college. We still have a few kicking around here.

Costco! We bought the cheapest white towels there for the purposes of staging our house to sell and they are still my favorite towels 4 years later!!

Try Home Goods too.

We have some of the Big One towels from Kohls, JCPenney Home's basic towels, and some quick dry towels from JCP that I can't find on their website right now that have all held up better than I would have expected for the price. I would buy any of them again, especially for something like going to college.

I have bought towels from Kohl's more than once and they have held up well. I think they are the Apt. 9 brand. They're big and fluffy and if you can catch a 30% deal, cheap!
