Has anyone found good quality summer t-shirts that aren't overly form fitting, or see through? Everything I buy starts to fall apart after a few wash cycles.

I like the "perfect t-shirt" from gap, but admittedly the last time I purchased it was 2 years ago. At the time, they were a nice weight (not too heavy, but enough weight to lay flat without showing every lump) and not see-through.

I love the timeless t from BR but it appears that they've replaced it with the essential t and that gets horrible reviews for switching to a thin material.

I love Everlane t-shirts. Fit is generous so size down from the chart.

I have to say I got a couple of Merona tshirts from Target and really like them! Not too thin and soft. Not sure how the white would be (although I'm convinced all white tshirts are thin and see-through at this point).

I love the Merona boat neck tees (http://www.target.com/p/women-s-boatneck-tee-merona/-/A-16598669#prodSlot=large_1_2&term=Merona+boat+neck) a lot. I bought one in white this year and I really like it. I hadn't bought a plain white tee in years. I also have a few of the Merona v neck (http://www.target.com/p/women-s-ultimate-v-tee-merona/-/A-16503062#prodSlot=large_1_4) and scoop neck (http://www.target.com/p/women-s-ultimate-scoop-tee-merona/-/A-16503124#prodSlot=large_1_9) tees from last year as well.

I just bought a lightweight crew neck t-shirt from Boden not too long ago. I liked it quite a bit. The material is actually thicker than other ones I have (from Gap and ON). I picked a darker color (green) so it's not see through at all. It's flattering w/o being too tight on the tummy.

I always pick a color or two from Lands End as they have one that's fitted and a nice weight.

If you do that do they look more fitted? The ones on the website looked really frumpy on the models IMHO (and of course frumpy always looks good on a model because it ads much needed weight). I would love to try them since they are made in my backyard, but I have feeling they would look like a frumpy old sack on me.

Coming back to say that I forgot that I have a few current season ON t's that are very good. I have a few v-neck and a few crew neck. It's the Women's Perfect Tees. I have navy, mint, grey/white stripe. They are contoured/fitted but not tight. Thicker material.

Kirkland Signature Ts at Costco. The only drawback is the colors are very limited. I prefer the V-necks, but they come in crewneck also.

I also like the Merona shirts from Target, and they have more colors. They're not as thick as the Kirklands, but they are nice. There are different styles, though, and different materials. So I always have to check to make sure I pick up the right kind (for me).

i found really nice T's at Nordstrom Rack...long, thin, slightly fitted and < $10. I bought black and pink and want to go back for more! So easy to dress up or down.
