miscellaneous laundry (sheets, towels, throws)
assess organizational needs for maintenance of work completed


THURSDAY, MAY 28th

GOALS:

deep-clean bathrooms (guest bath 2nd floor; powder room 1st floor)
Swiffer bathroom floors
launder bathroom rugs
launder shower curtain/change curtain liner
mop bathroom floors
replace toilet pucks
assess storage/towel hanging needs of both rooms


FRIDAY, MAY 29th

GOALS:

declutter Master Bedroom
deep-clean Master Bedroom
clean out MBR closet
assess condition & contents of toybox in MBR
replace crib mattress with rolled sleeping bag
launder toddler sheet set
launder duvet covers


These goals are just for this week and can be shuffled based on weather, whim, and previous day's status. I have plenty of podcasts to get me through, so I expect to proceed more or less on this schedule.

I'll post a recap of each day's tasklist every evening, and will post a new tasklist for next week after my workout on Monday.

I think I'm really planning to swap Friday with Thursday to take advantage of trash night (Thursday night) for the de-cluttering and grossness still hanging out in my MBR, and tackle the bathrooms/kitchen stuff on Friday.

It was gross, sweaty work, but it's not taking a lot of time.

Keep it up. Your posts inspired me yesterday and I got in and cleaned up clutter, deep cleaned the floors and 1 bathroom. This weekend it's the master bedroom, the bathroom and dusting. The closets and office will take much longer to do, as there's a lot to purge, but it was soooo nice to wake up today and have clean counters/tables and floors.

Keep at it!!! I got the bathrooms and my closet done over the weekend. We kept the house clean all weekend, put away all clutter at end of day, and it was so nice to wake up to clean living spaces. The plan is to keep what we've done tidy, so not adding to rest of mess still need to clean up.

Today it's DSs bedroom and dusting. I've still got a lot on the list to do, but it's already looking better.

Laundry - not on the original lists, but I had piles of unfolded, not-put-away laundry in my tidy living room, so it was a necessary digression.

Yes! I even cleaned the master bath, which was disgusting.

Now I'm out of both types of the bubbling aerosol cleanser (KABOOM! and Scrubbing Bubbles; yeah, I know, a lot of you have concerns about fumes, chemical composition, and other stuff - I just want a clean bathroom!) and the soaking tub in the Master bath is mostly clean (it still needs a good scrub on the bottom.)

I managed to clean all the bathrooms without excessive reliance on my go-to Lysol Concentrate (http://www.lysol.com/products/multi-purpose-pours/lysol-brand-concentrate-disinfectant/), the scent of which DH is opposed to, but still needed to use it in spots. This is OK. His trash can was pretty much a petri dish. (Ew.)

I need new mop heads and should probably get more Concentrate.
