Has anyone ever made cookies on a stick?

Making some sugar cookies on a stick and wondering if its better to bake them with the stick in them or put the stick in right when they are done? Has anyone every done this? Any tips? TIA

Are you planning to package them individually? If so, you could cheat like I did :). I made the cookies, wrapped them in the special cookie bag, and attached the stick to the bag. They looked great. Same end result except you're not actually able to eat the cookie on a stick. Make sense?

They are for children who I think will want to eat them on the stick:)
