I need to buy a carpet cleaner, as I have 1400 sq feet of almost all carpeting. I see in past threads there is a Hoover model that gets good reviews, but it looks like the machine is from 2005 (if not earlier). Sorry I can't link, having computer problems. Any recommendations or is that one fine? I have no problems buying an older model, as long as I can continue to get anything I need for it. I would love to buy something at Costco for easy returns, but the ones they have (at least on-line) don't seem to get great reviews.
I am also considering renting, but know it would be easier if I didn't have to get it all done in 24 hrs and could do one room at a time, etc.
