Yes there were about 15 sets of Duplo and Lego that went 50% off the other day. Probably quite out of control, but we got about 8 different duplo sets and a couple of the big Lego Movie box sets. We were right there when they were being tagged, had no idea there was going to be a sale. There were a handful of the sets that were 25% off as well, like Princesses and Camping. Disney Planes and a variety of others were still full price. They also had half off a ton of Mega Bloks stuff including Spongebob that was half off.

I would go crazy with Lego because I personally like them, but I have had to accept the fact that our kids always tear up all the nice Lego sets weve gotten them in the past, I think they are just still too young.

There were a lot of Lego Chima sets on sale at my Target, plus a few random City sets (fire emergency, police transport) and a Hobbit set.

My big score was the knock-off Snap Circuits for 50% off. I picked up a few for birthday presents. And I got a Leap Reader for DS for $18.

It feels like there are fewer toys on sale this year than usual.

I got that too. Can cartwheel only be used on in-store purchases? There wasn't much at my store on sale that I was interested in, but I might have to grab one of those horses from online for DD1 for birthday or Christmas. Her younger sister has one from Walmart and I think she'd like one for her AG doll as well.

Thanks for the heads up. If I got the email, I must have deleted it, and this makes some of those that I was hemming and hawing over yesterday more in my price range. Looks like up to 20 items this time, too, rather than the normal 4!

I went this morning and none of the Our Generation stuff at my store was clearanced, but the magformers were still there so I picked up two boxes of 30 (and will be returning the 1 box I'd ordered online!).

Hi ang79! I ended up buying both horses since I have two girls and I figured that way they can each have a different horse (hope they don't end up having a favorite and then fighting over one horse!). Good luck!

Haha, I actually got all three that were on sale :bag: I realized that the sale ended that night and I was being indecisive. For the price I grabbed all three. I'll decide when they get here which one to give DD1, then I'll gift one to a friend's daughter who has an October birthday. A friend might be interested in the third one for her daughter, as she missed the sale. Or I'll return to the store, Target is very good about that.

They are shipping each horse individually, can't wait to try to smuggle three large target boxes into the house with both DD's here!

LOL! I got the boxes and quickly hid them in the garage! Just FYI, on the outside of each box it has "Our Generation" (or something close to that)...my girls luckily didn't see the words because I quickly shoved them into the garage and told them I had ordered some school supplies (and they believed me:)! Hope your DD loves her horse!
