It's a boy!!!!!!!

Hi all,

We had a beautiful, healthy baby boy last Friday morning - in a blissfully drama-free way this time! He was not large at all but same weight and length as Mopey. Everything went very smoothly for my repeat C and I had the most amazing anesthesiologist! Very different, good (if bizarre) experience. Recovery has been harder than I remember but I'm feeling better every day.

We are all really happy and doing well. It was a total thrill to hear it was a boy (that I was really hoping for!) and I may be biased but oh he is CUTE. His nickname is Gogo. Thanks for all the support and advice in anticipation of baby #2 - I'm sure I'll be back frequently as usual with more and more questions :)

Thanks everyone :D It is seriously so nice not to feel traumatized this time - my hubby got to cut the cord, I got skin to skin in the OR and am having more luck BFing already (still supplementing but I've leaked this time! :47:) - I didn't even mind sharing a room with a very sweet but very dramatic roommate who got the window! hahahaha GoGo is so sweet - and sleepy! Trying to gear up for what life will be like. Mopey has been great with him but definitely saucier when others come around - she really just wants to be the four of us at home. Anyway, I'm so happy and feeling so lucky and grateful so thanks so much for the well wishes :)
