Recently I've been trying to upgrade/overhaul my work wardrobe as I've been interviewing for new positions and need suits for the first time in many years. I was getting so frustrated at my usual go-tos (Ann Taylor, Banana Republic) - for some reason, the "work" pants there made me look so frumpy, were too tight in the rear, and just didn't feel like the same quality material as the pants I purchased there 5+ years ago.
I ended up with several well-fitting pants and suits at Talbots - a store I had always dismissed as "for older women". Great quality, they drape well, slightly longer suit jackets - so pleased! I'm a size 8, and tend to carry my weight in my tummy and rear - it's hard to find pants that fit well. Just wanted to pass this along to anyone else who may have a similar body type and issue finding work clothes!
