My daughter is wearing this (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/zunie-sleeveless-sequin-dress-big-girls/4017614?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=552)and my son is wearing a similar color polo shirt (they are in the wedding).
Thanks for finding that dress, by the way, BBB! That one was BunnyBee's suggestion :)

I want to find a dress that compliments it.
I have 5 dresses in my "shopping bag" and I'd like to narrow it down to 2-3 before ordering. Because ordering all 5 would be $800, ha.

This is an afternoon wedding and I am told to dress "casual". These are plus size .

Which are cute? Which are hideous? Help!

My votes are for either the last (VC) one or the Julie Jordan one.

I think #4 is my favorite. Fit & Flare dresses are usually very flattering for plus sizes (at least, that's been my experience).

The pattern on #2 reads a little elderly to me, and though I really like the look of #5, I'd want to know exactly what "body Con" meant. I'd want that kind of dress to be lined so there wouldn't be much clinging.

#1 is also very pretty. I can't tell if the shape is more of a sheath or a fit & flare -- if it's the latter, that'd be my first choice. On my body, sheath dresses tend to cling and bunch in weird places, so I'm not as much a fan of those.

I would remove first one from consideration. Even for a casual wedding, it is too casual.

I do not prefer the first Adrianna Papell, but that is probably because I am pasty white and would look terrible in the color.

The last 3 are the best with the Vince Camuto my favorite.

I like 3, but I'm not sure if the black is too "dark" for an afternoon wedding? Maybe it doesn't matter.

As a fellow plus-size girl, I'm all about the fit and flare, so that would be 4, but I'm not sure how I feel about the burnout look. I would have to see it in person. So either 3 or 4.

I agree 1 looks too casual.

My fav is the second Adrianna Papell dress. Fit and flare is comfortable and flattering. Great summer vibe with the white and blue.

I agree- I like that one best too with the other Adrianna Papell as my second choice.

I vote for 2 or 4. I think 5 is too dressy for daytime casual wedding.

Thanks everyone. I am going to give 3, 4 and 5 a shot and keep 2 "save for later".
I think 4 is my favorite but I fear it might make me look pale.

I really like #1. I may just wait for it to go on sale to have for other occasions.

I love how Nordstroms packs dresses for shipment on a hanger, and how easy they make it to return items!

I like #4 best and I think it will coordinate really well with the other outfits.

I like #1 and #4. I don't think #1 is too casual for a daytime casual wedding!

Updating since I tried on the ones I ordered!

#3 was http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/julia-jordan-sleeveless-floral-lace-fit-flare-dress-plus-size/4094035?origin=shoppingbag&cm_ven=Linkshare&cm_cat=partner&cm_pla=10&cm_ite=1&siteId=je6NUbpObpQ-NWuYdRY_iHPT0JUk.Ora6g
This was very high drama. It's lovely but I would definitely need a lot of makeup and maybe an updo. Great for a gala.

#4 was http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/adrianna-papell-floral-mesh-burnout-fit-flare-dress-plus-size/4048718?origin=shoppingbag&cm_ven=Linkshare&cm_cat=partner&cm_pla=10&cm_ite=1&siteId=je6NUbpObpQ-AotEuOsDL83PGqJWzE57HQ
I thought this was the cutest one by far online, but in person it looked kind of .... demin? I also felt like it made me look wide in the waist.

#5 was http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/vince-camuto-print-drape-neck-body-con-dress-plus-size/4085821?origin=shoppingbag&cm_ven=Linkshare&cm_cat=partner&cm_pla=10&cm_ite=1&siteId=je6NUbpObpQ-VlZAD7p6s9C6q2vWVwDWMw
I don't really love the pattern, but dang. "Body con" apparently means "make you look at least 15 pounds lighter". It's very flattering, well made and comfortable. Winner winner chicken dinner!

Really on #3? It doesn't look that fancy. :). I knew #5 would look good. Love that style.
