DS3 is here!

DS3 (we ended up naming him Ethan) was born via repeat c-section Wednesday morning @ 37 wks exactly (scheduled because of my high risk history and my bp was getting funky towards the end), he was 5 lbs 13 oz and 18.25 inches-a little peanut! We came home Saturday and have been getting back to normal. C-section #4 was ridiculously easy- totally off motrin and tylenol now and that was all I needed after it. DS3 is a ridiculously mellow baby, awesome at nursing, awesome at sleeping, we are feeling very very lucky right now.

My good friend recently started doing birth photography (after years of doing newborns) and took time off her FT job to come take pictures for us. We are so glad it all worked out, my OB was awesome about letting her come along and it was a lot more fun in pre-op and all having her there to talk to along with DH. Thanks everyone! We are totally in love with him. We really lucked out, he is such a mellow easy baby so far that it has made the transition from 2 to 3 kids really easy.

(And we had DS2 at that hospital as well. I liked it better last time in 2012 actually, the food has gone seriously downhill now that they are trying to be 'healthy' and some of my nurses were hit and miss this time while they were all really wonderful last time. And I hated that they had the baby set up in the OR behind my head so I couldn't see the baby at all while they were checking him over. If we do this again I will probably deliver at the 'baby factory' hospital next time since they are more equipped for high risk scenarios, I've heard such good things about how much better it has gotten since we had DS1 there.)
