Where can I find "bike shorts" for under DD's skirts and dresses? I'm striking out online...everything appears to be for toddlers. She is 5.5 and need to be covered up!

I like childrens place cartwheel shorts for that.

I noticed some very similar ones in kohls yesterday, too. Didnt look at the price though.

Children's place ones go on sale for cheap a lot.

We buy Childrens place cartwheel shorts every year.

My girls got them from Old Navy this year. They wanted them shorter so they didn't show under their skirts/dresses. Last year we did the Circo brand from Target and they were longer and showed a bit under some of their outfits (but because they were longer they worked nicely with tunic tops).

I like the old navy ones. They fit my slim DDs, and they're a good length. They hold up well, but are inexpensive.

We used the old navy ones this year as I got them for about $4 a pair and they come in lots of colors. I thought they ran small though and had to go up a size for DD. We also use children's place cartwheels but old navy was cheaper.

Garnet Hill has a few colors left on clearance (with an extra 50% off through Labor Day they would be $4.50)

The Hanna Andersson bike shorts have seemed to fit my daughter for a long time, which is nice. I have picked up a few pair at end-of-season sales (for the next year) and it seems to take her a long time to grow out of them so they last a long time for her.

My DGD1 wore Hanna bike shorts from age one until she outgrew the largest HA size. They definitely lasted a long time and wore really well. Now that she is almost out of LE big girl sizes too (ack!) I got her some LE bike shorts this summer which seem OK too.

DD is 5 and will only wear dresses. I picked the Maidenform Playground Pals from Kohl's to use up Kohl's cash and they've been great.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Since I'm late to the party for the season, it seems like color selections are limited in her size. She's soooo picky about matching and colors recently, so I think we'll give the Maidenform ones from Kohl's a shot. I'll definitely keep all of the other ideas in mind for next spring though!
