I'm trying to look more put together these days (at least some of the time...). I am VERY new to wearing jewelry and I like silver. I recently kept a necklace from a Stitch Fix and bought a Stella & Dot necklace, and I love them both. What other places do you get jewelry? I'm only looking for very affordable stuff (read: cheap).

Thanks, stylish mamas!

Clearance at Macy's and Kohls. And, Charming Charlie's is awesome!

I like Charming Charlie if there is one near you. The whole store is arranged by color, so easy to find coordinating pieces. Sometimes I will take a top in and the sales people are great at helping me put some things together. Pretty inexpensive, so not going to last forever, but I think the stuff looks decent. I don't like to spend much on trendier pieces anyway.

Charming Charlie's look like EXACTLY what I need! Whooooot! And it's a few miles from my house. :-)

I have some nice pieces that have held up well that I've gotten at Loft and The Limited. I only buy from them when on sale.

I second the Loft and they often have jewelry on sale. One other company to look at is Noonday Collection - they sell beautiful jewelry that is made by artisans in countries around the world, providing opportunities for vulnerable populations. Each piece has a unique story behind it about the artisans that make it and how working with Noonday is making a difference in their life, the lives of their family and their community. Many of their pieces are fun, everyday pieces at reasonable prices and I love that my purchase is going towards a greater purpose. I have several of their pieces that I wear a ton!

Pps reminded me that most of my favorites are from the Limited. I buy when there are big sales. 10,000 Villages has neat stuff. Etsy is great, if you have oodles of time. At Macy's, Lucky brand is one of my go tos.

My favorite is Purpose Jewelry (http://www.purposejewelry.org/). It's unique, fairly inexpensive and supports a good cause (human trafficking victims.) I've only bought one pair of earrings but I get compliments on them all the time.

I have really gotten into long tassel necklaces. I am super flat-chested and that style seems to be the most flattering to me. I wear a couple from Groopdealz that are a knock-off of Kendra Scott Rayne all the time. Also my girls made me tons of beaded tassel necklaces and I wear them a lot.

I like Charming Charlies but recently have been buying the BP brand from Nordstrom. They even have the Kate Spade stud knockoffs! They have all kinds of very resonably priced things- sometimes their earrings are under $5.
