I posted recently asking how old kids are when they no longer use play kitchens.
I think DC still wants a play kitchen, but I need to get a new one since our huge one won't fit in our new house.

Can anyone recommend a compact play kitchen that is tall enough for a 4-5yo?

Thanks!

Not sure how compact a compact kitchen is, but the Ikea one comes with risers. My extremely tall 6 yo still plays with it.

Is this the one? http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70129801/

Yes. Plus we have this on top: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90129800/. The grey things on the feet are risers. You can set it up without them, or, if you use them there are 2 different heights to choose from. We've had ours for 4 years. It's gets play almost daily and still looks nice.

We have and like the Melissa and Doug corner kitchen. We got it when DS1 was 4.5 and he still occasionally plays with it at 6.5 (although now DS2 uses it more). I think I remember that it was one if the taller ones when we were looking, because I was concerned about that too.
