Polar express in nh

Can anyone recommend a hotel for the Conway area? Thinking about doing the polar express ride up here any reviews of this experience or tips?

In summer, we once stayed at the North Conway Grand Hotel and it was nice. We enjoyed it. We usually rent a condo though, and most recently rent at Attitash Mountain resort in Bartlett, just a bit north of North Conway.
