DD loves, loves, loves the water, but she has such a strong prescription (she's had glasses since 9 months). I know from having a strong prescription myself how disconcerting it can feel to not be able to see very well. She doesn't seem to mind, but I'd like to get her swim goggles, I know she will wear them b/c they use them for most of their swim lessons and she's always excited to put them on. Finding googles for a farsighted prescription (positive diopters) is proving challenging. So far I've only found one place online: http://www.aquagoggles.com. Anyone use them? or have another suggestion? TIA!

I bought DD a pair at aclens.com. This is the type we have. DD is farsighted and wears +6 without the bifocal.

My friend recommends Zenni

I've purchased corrective speedo vanquishers from Amazon for my child. Had to buy two pair to build the right combination, but having two sets of goggles was good for us.

I buy locally at a swim store, DD is 12 and has used them for years, ours are speedo.

Thanks everyone - those of you using speedo, are they for farsighted prescriptions? I've heard great things about the vanquishers, but I'm only seeing nearsighted options for speedo online, and I don't think we have a local place.

I've heard great things about glassed from zenni but I don't see googles offered on their website.

squimp thanks for the aclens rec.!

Our Hilcos from aclens have lasted about 8 years of use with very little scratches. I couldn't find any other brands that went up that high in the positive back then for my 4-yo.

I believe it as far as prescription goes! My DD needs is a +7.75/+8, and they were the only brand I could find that went up that high!

They don't seem to go high enough, but thanks for looking jenstring95! I ordered some from AClens, hopefully they will work out!
