Anyone have tips for watching Paint the Night Parade and Fireworks at Disneyland??

I've been a passholder for 2 years and I can't believe I haven't seen the 60th anniversary stuff yet! So we're finally going tomorrow night

Anyone have any tips to watch Paint the Night parade and Fireworks? Best Vantage points?

Paint the Night will be at 8:00 tomorrow. How early should I get there to stake a spot (Or I should say how late can I get there to get a decent spot)? Where should I aim to get a good view of both parade and fireworks?

Any advice greatly appreciated. I have a 4 and a 7 year old with me so wondering how dinnertime would work too if we're trying to wait for the parade to start.

Head over to the it's a small world area. Find a seat on the steps. Make sure you can see iasw and to the left of it (that will be where the fireworks come from). The parade will come right in front of you there. If you use iasw as 12:00, we liked our seats at 4:30 or so.
