View Full Version : Any Favorite Sweater Dresses?

I am on the lookout for a sweater dress that I can wear to work with black leggings and boots. I am thinking either solid gray or some stripes, but can be somewhat flexible on color. I don't love cowl/turtle necks, and would love to find it for $50, but could swing up to around $75-100 if it was wonderful. I am 5'3" and a size 2/4, but have larger hips/thighs and would like to find something with a little bit of shape. I tried one on at the Loft outlet today but it did not flatter my shape at all.

Bookmarking! I like my Athleta Zuni sweater dress but it's a cowl neck (but on clearance now).

PS sounds like we're a similar shape, so I'm interested in what you find that works for you!

Ok, ended up at the mall unexpectedly this afternoon (meet up to buy used stroller) so I was able to try a bunch on. I really like that Gap one on the model, but not as much in person. I ended up with the cozystitch sweater dress from Loft. They also have a striped one that I like but didn't have my size in store. If I like wearing this one I may order the other online. I just bought that same dress this past weekend. It was the only one in the store (I think it was an online return). I love that it's cozy without being bulky, and figure skimming without being clingy.
