Anything with easy-operate controls so she doesn't get frustrated quickly. If it's a Christmas gift, be sure to pre-charge the battery and set up the batteries in the remote (and have tons of extras!) so that it can be played with out of the box.

My stepfather has a Tonka one that he bought ages ago (it's no longer made) that has a steering wheel control, plus a switch for reverse. It's a dump truck, so there is also a button to dump the load.

Mine asked once this season for a Little Tikes one that's a truck inside a tire (http://www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-638541MAZ-Tire-Twister/dp/B00UMPPOWW/ref=pd_sim_21_20?ie=UTF8&dpID=41Le-cOt2LL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1FCK93CNYW5K6SSX79Y3), but I don't think it's all that long-lived.

How much fine-motor control does she have? Complicated controls will be more frustrating if her fine-motor skills are low.

We like our morphibian car. It's pretty tough and kids can control it.

Great I think I the Morphibians car will work and we will get one for my 5 yr. old nephew as well.
