My Sofft brand heels are my most comfy. But my BP patent peep toes from Nordstrom were a great price and surprisingly comfortable.
If you have any time at all though, I think you'd be wise to go to somewhere like DSW or Nordstrom today and try things on. No value in getting new shoes on zappos and finding they suck and no time for a back up plan.

I can go to dsw. Any suggestions on a style of shoe that would look good?

I feel like something with a sling back would look good. I wouldn't get anything too busy (not a lot of straps) because the (really pretty!) dress has stuff going on. But, you have a lot of wiggle room and can go for most any shoe that fits your feet and budget.

I was surprised dress fitted so well. I really wanted the red but it's only online.. Thinking of getting it as it's 40% off.. But would 2 lace dresses by too much??

i was thinking sling back. I like peep toe but no time to get a pedicure. I don't have a dressy black heel at all so I'll get something that doesn't have straps etc would black best color???

Those look a great, versatile shoe to own.

I'm not s good one to ask about too many dresses. I currently have 4 dresses (with tags still on) for my SIL's wedding next month...and I found about 8 more I wanted to buy on Friday. Seems like all dresses out now are just right.

Love the dress, much better than the original one you posted in the other thread. The shoes look great too! That dress will be very nice to have for many occasions.

I love the dress! I would have been tempted to buy it myself if it was left in my size!

As for shoes, I recently bought these in black patent for a basic black heel for some of DH's work events. They have been comfortable so far. I got mine at Lord and Taylor with one of their store coupons.

The dress is pretty and I don't have a nice black dress. I stopped at Nordstrom Rack as getting tire fixed at place next-door and scored a pair of Via Spiga black pumps for $107. They were a wide width and way more comfortable than any high heel I've had - maybe i need to go for wide width in heels. I still checked DSW, but they didn't have the Cole Haan heels I posted.

So I've got a dress and I've got heels...accessories I think I'll just wear earrings.
