Amazon shipping date "range"

Amazon, you know it's the holidays, right? Don't you think you could narrow the arrival date a bit? "December 8-30" is a big window!

Sorry, but that is funny. Do you have a tracking number yet? One store shows an estimated delivery date but when I look through the tracking number it is a different (better) date.

Shutterfly gave me delivery dates between 12/19 (ok) and 12/24 (cutting rather close, eh?) Oh well, I already warned everyone the calendars might be late. I had one thing from Target show an expected arrival date of 12/9 on the 11th and another store had one thing stuck in VA with an ominous "to be rescheduled" message (it's now in PA so hopeful).
