Weird Amazon packaging

I guess weird things are going on with Amazon - I just received a box with 2 items in it that was "padded" with a reusable Home Goods Shopping tote. First I thought it might be a promo item and upon closer inspection, the bag appeared used, dirty and frayed at the ends. I unfolded it and it said Home Goods on the sides. Then I noticed that the usual bubble wrap or air cushions are missing from the box and it clicked.

Anybody else had that happen? Pretty weird....

No! I have placed a ton of orders and have not had that happen. Any chance it is a third party seller on amazon?

I would guess 3rd party seller as well. I ordered from a 3rd party once and the packaging was strange/not the usual Amazon at all.
