Yaktrax or Stabilicers?

I know they get some love here. Which brand is better? And if you like Yaktrax, which one -- Yaktrax Walker or Yaktrax Pro? I'm looking to buy them for an elderly relative for snow shoveling, walking on ice, etc.

I have the regular yaktrax walker and have been very happy with them. I used them even to walk around on an ice rink while my kids were skating and never slipped. They are great!

For just walking around--get the Yaktrax walkers. The pros are harder to put on/take off--because you don't want them to come off when running.
