What about these?? I have the summer version which I love but I wear those without socks- these I would have to wear them. And I always think shoes look weird with socks.

Those are cute. But I agree about the mary janes looking weird with socks--I will let others weigh in on that one. I did get a pair of shoes that had a "z strap" across the top so a little less formalish than the maryjane ankle strap. I think that works better.

You may be able to wear the no show socks...the type that only cover your toes and heel.

I like them and I would wear them with matching trouser socks (assuming you are wearing pants, I haven't read the background on this) or even decorative socks, but then, grain of salt, I have decorative socks so my fashion sense is off-kilter.

I think you could wear these with black socks. I have a pair of mary janes that i wear to work with black socks sometimes.

That said ... They are still nms. I love the lucky brand Emmie flats. Very comfy and inexpensive from amazon. No socks, even with jeans in the winter. But I don't wear them for long outdoor activities in the cold.
