Looking for some feedback on lululemon leggings.
I just purchased my first pair of lululemon high pant leggings and loved them at the store. I came home and read some reviews online of pilling and poor quality etc. I know I tend to post reviews when products don't meet my expectations but rarely post reviews when products are great. The leggings were $100 which is a big investment so I want to make sure it's not a crap product.
Thoughts?

I own a whole lot of work out clothes and I used to love Lululemon but I've given up on them. Quality is spotty now, fabrics have changed for the worse, etc. There is a lot more competition in the expensive work out wear and I think you can do better. I love Zella and Lucy for pants, their fabric is what Lululemon used to be. Athleta does not fit me as well but generally is great quality. Nike and Under Armour are great too.

I couldn't agree more! Lululemon's quality has really declined in the past couple of years. For what they charge the pants should be the absolute best but they are just meh now. I have a couple pairs that I'm afraid to wear because the reviews report splitting seams so I'm too nervous to wear them in boot camp! I LOVE Zella (their live in slim fit leggings are awesome!) and Athleta is great about 1/2 the time (they can't seem to get their fit perfected).

It's a tough one. Some of their stuff is still great, but I have had a few disappointing pieces. I have also been disappointed with just about all the other lines too, so I find it hard to decide where to put my money. I like lulu styling most of the time, so I certainly gravitate to them.

I LOVED the fit at the store so I decided to bite the bullet and wear them. They are great but can see where reviews of pilling. Not sure if I would purchase another pair of pants there unless they are on sale. Athleta is usually my go to but thought I try something else this time. Thanks for the feedback!

I'll add my 2 cents. My close friend is obsessed with Lulu, and has probably about 30 items. She has become a convert when it comes to yoga pants with the TekGear one's from Kohl's, they are thicker and last longer, and the fit is great. She kept noticing mine and finally tried mine on and was very surprised. She still loves the styling of the Lulu tops etc, but for the price their leggings/yoga pants are ridiculous.
