Keep or toss: Nutella Oct'15 expiration

Just discovered this jar of Nutella :( Hoping we can still use it

As I always say- use your eyes and nose. Nutella will go rancid. You'll smell it. But, it was probably a best by date and is just fine. Open it and see.

yup. def just smell. all the sugar is fine, but the hazelnut oils go rancid. ick. if it smells fine AND a dab tastes good, youre good to go.

I cannot fathom Nutella lasting long enough to spoil. But it can be surprising what gets lost in the pantry.
