Not to hijack your thread, but how do you do fondue? What do you need?

I use milk chocolate chips and heavy cream and mix in a fondue pot. You wouldn't have to use one though if you don't have it. For dippers I serve pretzel rods, strawberries , bananas, cut up pound cake (Sara Lee frozen) large marshmallows. The kids love it, parents too :)

Thanks for the fondue idea. I might try that!

Have you looked on Pinterest? I think I as some desserts in champagne glasses that could be fun. Like a small scoop of rainbow sherbet in a champagne glass with either champagne or sparkling cider or soft drink.

I made creme puffs with white chocolate filling for Christmas eve and it was a hit. I used this recipe:

http://allrecipes.com/recipe/15869/cream-puffs/

you could offer different fillings/toppings if you wanted variety. I made the creme puffs earlier in the morning, made the pudding filling, and assembled just before serving. You could easily transport the puffs in a zip lock bag and the pudding in a separate zip lock bag and clip the corner of the bag the quickly pipe the filling into the puffs.

have fun with your friends.

Our go to is cookie dough dip. It's a cream cheese ball with chocolate chips and rolled in chopped pecans (if people can have nuts) and served with pretzels and nilla wafers. Always a huge hit. http://www.justataste.com/chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-dip-recipe/
