Airbag Recall

Wanted to post since they have expanded the recall. The first round of recalls for my car only called for replacing the drivers side airbag. They are now expanding it to passenger side airbags for some vehicles.

There was recently an 8th death in the US related to the airbag. I've already made my appointment for next week.

Thank you for posting this. DH's car wasn't included in the first round but now needs the passenger side replaced. Since I'm the one who usually rides there, I'll be calling ASAP!

My dh's car is included in the original recall, but Mazda still doesn't have replacement airbags available yet. We've been waiting for months. I don't think this has been handled well at all.
