I am looking for a higher waisted Jean rec. I currently wear luckys and I love them but I need a slightly higher waisted Jean to hold in my mommy belly...sigh....I am a size 12/14

I like Eddie Bauer's curvy boot, and curvy straight jeans. I also really like the Lolita skinny jeans by Lucky Brand and they are a nice rise. Lucky makes so many styles, but if you don't go to their store you may not find them all. I never thought a skinny jean would work for me, but I love the Lolitas. I am a 14 in all of these jeans. I like that both jeans are long in the regular length as I have 32" legs. Gap 1969 jeans are nice too, but I have to get the longs and have them hemmed because they have more length in the crotch.

Not Your Daughter's Jeans (NYDJ) are my absolute favorite. I haven't bought anything else in a couple years. I usually find them at Nordstrom Rack. You get the added bonus of sizing way down because of how they run.

I have had good luck with Rock & Republic jeans (Kohls). Surprisingly the skinny/leggings style looks good on me (I am a 10/12).

Madewell has high rise jeans that are great I believe there are 2 different versions - I got the highest at 9 inches and like them

I've discovered Mavi jeans and absolutely love them. I wear a mid-ride style called Ashley but I'm sure you could find a few high waisted styles on their website (or Nordstrom.com it zappos or amazon).

Amazon just had jeans as their Deal of the Day, and I ended up with a few high-waisted jeans that are nice. Based on recs here, I ordered JAG jeans, and they fit great! It is a straight leg style. I also bought Seven jeans, I like them, but don't need another pair of legging-style jeans.

Since I just bought these, not sure how they will wear longer-term (stretching out, etc).

For $12, I just bought Gloria Vanderbuilt jeans at Costco, LOVE how they pull in my tummy!

Have you tried Wit and Wisdom Absolution jeans from Nordstrom? Game changer for me- seriously.
