I know it's a long shot, but does anyone have a contact or "in" with a DR Consulate or Embassy? I pulled email addresses for 6 or 8 locations throughout the US to ask for bulk travel info for a school event. It took over a week but each and every email was eventually returned as undeliverable. I called the NY office but just went in circles.
Our event is 4/1 and I'm running out of time!! I did contact our regional AAA office on Friday, hoping for a call-back tomorrow. ISO maps, brochures, etc to make goody bags for 120 kids in an elementary school (it's our year for "theme day" and this year it's "around the world."). Parent groups volunteer to transform 20 classrooms into 20 different countries for a day. It's a lot of work but so rewarding and the kids love it.
