drive way re paved?

Anyone had their driveway re asphalt-ed? Was it worth it? it seems SUPER expensive (thousands of dollars) but our driveway is a total pain to snow blow or shovel. Was it worth it? Any tips or advice? Thanks!

We had ours done shortly after we moved in 10 years ago. It was definitely worth it, we also had them expand it slightly to create another parking space. It was in really really bad shape though, and had to be done at some point.

We had ours torn out and redone when we added on our garage. It was a few thousand dollars. We didn't really have a choice since we needed it to be a different size, but we thought it was a reasonable price and are very pleased with it.
