We usually fill our Easter eggs with candy as well as some sort of toy. We've done trio building blocks and Lego mini figures packs when I've found them on sale. Any ideas on what I can use this year? DS1 is 8 and DS2 is 6. I was thinking of breaking up some Mixels sets and using those but would love other ideas if you have any to share. TIA

Should this be in the lounge? I have to admit, having it in the expecting forum definitely made me click out of curiosity! :)

We do small value coins, goldfish, some candy and the trinket currently being collected by DD if it's small enough. Thanfully this year is shopkins, so they are going in at our house. I'll keep thinking...

We've done squinkies in the past - huge success. I haven't seen them in a long time and have been looking. Where did you find them?! TIA!

I was going to do some printable coupons for things like "bake cookies with mom", "choose a dinner this week", "pick a movie for family movie night", "trip to the ice cream store", etc. I found a bunch of options of printables on pinterest. I'll probably mix these in with coins and annies bunnies cookies and jelly beans.

Here is a link to one of the printable coupons I found in case anyone is interested!

Shopkins seem like the current Squinkies-type obsession.

I was thinking of doing some Uggly Pet Shop figures. I asked DS1 about Shopkins and I got a big no. I also might do money, some chocolates, and coupons that can be cashed in for either bigger items (nothing expensive, just stuff that can't fit in an egg) or later bedtime etc.

Money! About 50 cents per egg.

Change. The kids at our family hunt fight over who gets the eggs with as little as 3 pennies in them. :)

Loose change-- pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters. Whatever is in the loose change jar.

I'm hosting more kids than normal. Boy 9, girl 7, and girl 6. If it was just my DD I would do Shopkins. Not sure what to do this year.

Target has Disney Tsum Tsums that are similar to Squinkies/Shopkins. After several years of squinkies I swore off collecting little rubber creatures, but the Tsum Tsum are just so darn cute!

Otherwise, we do loose change, small bills (whatever I have in my wallet.)

Candy

Lip Balm
