A light, airy neutral. All doors and trim are white. Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams colors. I have samples of BM Revere Pewter and Edgecomb gray up so far (and liking the Revere Pewter better - but maybe want something even lighter). Furniture/accessories will add color in the room so I want to stick with a neutral for the walls. Carpets are a light neutral frieze with tones of taupe and linen. North-facing room with one window. I want feelings of de-stressing and peace when I walk in:)

We have BM Gray Owl in the living spaces and it's just gorgeous, but it reads green in artificial light so I don't want to use it for a bedroom/office, plus there is an adjoining bathroom that will be painted in the same color and currently has 90s green marble tile:/

We have the combo of BM Silver Half Dollar and BM Manchester Tan in our two rooms in our basement. A color specialist at the local paint store helped us choose the combo - we wanted light neutrals that looked good with the white trim, doors, built ins. I really like how it turned out.

The Silver Half Dollar is a light blue-gray - Maybe an option for your room?

LOL I have silver half dollar up too!! I didn't mention it because it reads way too blue in this room with the Northern light. I LOVE the color though. Will look at Manchester Tan...

That's funny! I really like our Manchester Tan too - we actually are planning to use it several other places in our house now!

Hmmm everything I'm reading says that North-facing rooms benefit from more saturated colors...wondering if I should veer away from the pale colors and look for something deeper. I still don't want dark, I'd still prefer a light/airy feel. Is that even possible? LOL.

We just painted our guest room SW Magnetic Grey. I'm really loving it. We had first picked Behr Light French Grey but it was too blue. The Magnetic Grey skews a little more green, not much, but just enough if you know what I mean.

We have BM Seattle Mist in our bedroom, and doesn't read too green, even with the green accents in the room...

I just saw a blog post that had tons of pictures of paint colors. Here it is:

That site has lots of other posts with paint colors too I noticed. :)
