Anyone have a child into diving?

What kind of towel do they use for diving practice? How big is it usually? Are there any other "must haves"?

So, I don't have a kid into diving but I was a diver in HS. We used "shammies" to dry off in between dives. I never really needed much else besides comfortable suits. Some others wore swim caps, but I was always fine just keeping my hair french braided. Not sure what's new now though.

Another HS diver here. We also used shammies between dives. I had a 'proper' towel for after the meet, but used shammies between dives. Can't think of any other must haves, though. I don't think any of the girls wore swim caps.
