Need replacements for my Merrell Gardenas

I have worn Merrell Gardenas every day for over 8 years. I've owned multiple pairs and my newest pair just bit the dust. They are unavailable and sold out everywhere.

So I need new sandals.

My criteria:

Solid black
Look like a flip flop
Don't look too "sensible"

I'd like them to be as supportive and comfortable as my merrells if possible.

I basically want to look like I'm this casual Californian wearing flip flops worthy of a surfer (lol), but they are secretly supportive and sensible.

I've looked at Merrell and I don't see anything that would work for me. The other sandals they have have weird details in other colors.

Anyone got anything?

Fitflop was the first thing that came to mind. Nordstrom Rack usually has a bunch so you can at least try them on.

I love my Orthaheels/ Vionics. I have the Tide sandals in black and bronze; they're so comfortable, I wear them all summer and as late into the fall as possible. :)
