I need a new stick vac for my main living areas that are all tile and hardwood. Amazon has some with amazing reviews, but when things go wrong, they really go wrong. I would like to spend $200 of less. I'm not looking for a Miele or anything fancy... Thank you!
I have this

It is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I do wish it had a longer cord though.

We have an Electrolux Ergorapido, it gets the job done well enough. :)

My parents have a Miele and is overpriced for what it does. Their 1980s Eureka stick vac worked better. If I were buying one I would probably get an Ergorapido.

Our house is 95% hardwood, 3% vinyl, and 2% tile and we use our Dyson DC14 with no problems on our floors.

I have the exact same one, and it works SO much better than the Electrolux Ergorapido I had before. The battery slowly died on the Electrolux so by the time I got rid of it there was almost no suction.
I agree that the cord should be longer on the Dirt Devil, but it works well and I paid $15 for it, so I'm very happy with it.

We have that dirt devil too. Have had it a few months now after our hoover bit the dust. My last stick vac had a beater bar so you could use it on carpets and this one does not. Also though there's a wider path at the base if you turn it over the suction hole is actually only at the middle of that bar...it's not actually sucking from the ends/sides. That said, it does work surprisingly well for a $15 item.

I despise the ergorapido. We have the Hoover linx.
