View Full Version : What do you wear on your feet when it's really rainy but warm out?

I have Hunter boots, but they feel like overkill in a summer rainstorm. Any other good alternatives that are still cute?

Thanks! :)

I wear flip flops. Not sure how cute they are, but I hate wet shoes, so it's either my rain boots or flip flops.

I actually asked the same question on here a few years ago. I don't remember the replies and I still don't have a great system. I do have an all leather pair of flip flops that's better in rain than my Tevas bc they don't stay squishy and wet.

Don't wear Sanuk flip flops. They get squishy and foam like they're full of soap. Orthaheel Vionics Tide are great in wet, warm weather. Keens work too but stay damp longer.

Basic flip flops, Tevas, or Crocs:) I love my Crocs that remind me of jellies!

I have Croc sandals (flip flops, but not thong style). They're nice enough that I can wear them to work, too.

I learned that the hard way one day at a splash pad with the kids. It's the weirdest thing!

It rarely rains here in the summer, but I most likely wear ballet flats or a pair of sneakers into the office and then change once I am at my desk into a pair of sandals or peep toe pumps.

I wear the voinics (orthoheel) they are great and don't absorb water/foam

Croc sandals or another rubber sandal. I always have flip flops in my car and desk drawer at work in case it rains so I can change out of my good shoes in the summer. I also keep a towel in my car so I can dry off my feet.

Chacos. I took my Hunters with me to Chicago last week, and it was total overkill. I looked like a loon with them on. I didn't see another single person with rain boots on. We went back to the hotel and I changed into my chacos.

Natives if I'm planning to get wet!
I have Keens too, but they get stinky and make my feet look like troll paws.

I have shortie Hunter boots if it's warmer and I don't want to get wet, but know the puddles are deep.
